About Matt Cohn
My own path in golf has been one of steady evolution—from a driven junior player to a successful mid-amateur competitor—highlighted by recent wins including the 2025 SCGA Mid-Amateur and six NCGA championships.
As a young golfer, I was an AJGA winner and All-American, then a four-year Division I player at the University of Oklahoma, where I earned Big XII All-Conference and Academic All-American honors, along with OU’s awards for Most Outstanding Freshman and Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Clarity is shaped not just by my playing experience, but by a lifelong interest in what leads to great performance. Bob Rotella’s books weren’t just part of my tournament travel bag—they sparked a lasting focus on the mental and preparatory side of the game that still drives me today.
Beyond golf, I’ve spent the past 20 years working as a tutor, teacher, and college admissions advisor. Thousands of hours mentoring young people have honed my ability to communicate, motivate, and guide—skills that are at the heart of everything I do with Clarity Golf Mentoring.
